Mother to Son

NYCHORAL presents Langston Hughes’s Mother to Son poem arranged by American composer Undine Eliza Anna Smith Moore. Featuring Mezzo soprano Zoie Reams in collaboration with choreographer Francesca Harper.  This collaboration shines a light on history, storytelling and activism in the context of the Black narrative of yesterday and today.

My Journey Yours

Inspired by Elise Witt’s work of the same name, My Journey Yours considers why people leave home – by choice, by necessity, or by force – and how they adapt to their new homeland.
